Colorado's Strategic Action Planning Group on Aging
Continues "Conversations on Aging" Regional Tour in Denver
WHAT: Conversations on Aging, a public meeting designed to hear the voices of Coloradans on aging issues.
WHY: The number of Coloradans aged 65 and over is projected to rise by more than 508,000 - an increase of 68 percent - by 2030. Colorado's Strategic Action Planning Group on Aging will begin a series of meetings across the state to gather input from local residents responding to - and building on - the Planning Group's Initial Strategic Action Plan on Aging for Colorado released this past November.
WHO: Colorado seniors are encouraged to attend and voice their opinions, suggestions and guidance on issues facing our aging public - as well as individuals, organizations and elected officials who provide services or advocate on behalf of seniors. The Planning Group seeks ideas and information that it can use to support local initiatives that improve the lives of seniors in the area.
